The BRAD® protects SPI PETRO PIT® and PETRO PIPE® filters and pre-filters against accidental impact, as well as any other filters installed on photovoltaic skids, retention tanks or concrete pits fitted with filter cartridge drainage systems designed for the treatment of rainwater contaminated with hydrocarbons.
By reducing the risk of breakage to the PVC threaded heads of filter cartridges and pre-filters, the BRAD® helps maintain the system’s watertight integrity and preserve its hydraulic performance. It also ensures safety during maintenance work around tanks and transformers, thereby helping to maintain the filtration systems’ rated service life.
The BRAD400 is also available to protect the PETRO PIPE® range.

Terms of use:
The BRAD® can be installed: • On any new SANERGRID® retention tank fitted with SPI PETRO PIT® or PETRO PIPE® filters. • On existing tanks already fitted with filters. • On photovoltaic or BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) retention skids. • On any installation requiring additional mechanical impact protection for the filters. It is an ideal solution for new installations with SANERGRID® tanks, or as a retrofit to secure existing installations with high operator traffic around transformers and filters.
