Small pre-filtration box for PETRO-PIPE® : an essential complement to the PETRO-PIPE® filters. Placed upstream of the filter cartridges, it protects them from impurities present in the water (mud, sand, leaves, etc.) and guarantees their proper functioning.

Use and design:
The pre-filtration box PFB0810 is essential for the proper functioning of PETRO-PIPE® filters: placed upstream of the filter cartridges, it protects them from impurities present in the water (mud, dust, sand, leaves, etc.). This system is ideal for civil engineering applications (retention tanks, concrete pits, compressors, generators, etc.).
The systems consists of an aluminium box, foams and geotextiles that filter and trap impurities in the water. The PFB0810 is designed to be equipped with one PETRO-PIPE® filter. For larger discharge configurations, other pre-filtration box models are available: consult us.
Installation and maintenance:
The pre-filtration box is fixed in the bottom of the pit or retention basin thanks to their pre-drilled brackets or is slid between the 2 plates (including) previously fixed to the wall.
The internal elements of the equipment must be cleaned at least once a year by rising with clear water. In difficult conditions (important presence of leaves, dust, sand or any other element that could block the pre-filtration system), maintenance must be carried out more regularly. If no major incident occurs, it is highly recommended to change the internal components every 5 years.
Box delivered without screws and bolts for fixing (specific to each installation site depending on the thickness of the concrete).
To equip 2 PETRO-PIPE® filters, use the PFB1012 pre-filtration box.

- 1 black mesh reinforced filter sheet
- 1 layer of white filter foam
- 1 set of metalic plates to install the PFB on the retention wall.
