Part of the SPI® filter technology, the PETRO-PIT® range is the United Kingdom and European reference for hydrocarbon contaminated rainwater filter cartridges for small volume retention.
Easy to use, the PETRO-PIT® SET was created to allow a quickly and easily installation of a filter on a metallic retention tank outlet. It fits on any low point and drain valve. Can be used horizontally or slightly inclined in the direction of flow. The P-PIT401 filter is recommended to be changed every year.
Patented system, ideal for outdoor retention tanks and pits (metallic or concrete).
The filtration set includes:
- 1 P-PIT401 filter for hydrocarbons (petrol, diesel,...),
- 1 PFC-44 pre-filter,
- 1 stainless steel 90° elbow, 1.5" female to be screwed onto the retention,
- 1 stainless steel 1/4 turn valve F/F 1.5",
- 1 roll of teflon to ensure waterproof.
Add the PREPAKIT to your cart to receive your filtration sets in a single pastic bag with all the necessary unit items; without this option, you will receive the products in "bulk".
SPI® has been an Eastern American manufacturer based in Connecticut for 30 years. Bill Gannon founded SPI® in 1991 to develop a technology for solidifying polluting oils. No oil has ever drained from any SPI® filter. SPI® filters comply with American EPA SPCC standards, European and French standards on water treatment in light hydrocarbon separators as well as the water law (hydrocarbon content of water at the filter outlet less than 5 ppm , ICPE compliant). For three decades, thousands of installations have been protected by SPI® products in North America, Europe and Latin America. Its approval with the largest petrochemical industries, power companies and local authorities gives it an obvious strength to innovate in the filtration and solidification of new pollutants (natural esters FR3-COPPER, synthetic esters MIDEL7131) and find the solution for which you need.
