The PFC-44 pre-filtration system is an essential accessory for limiting the risk of clogging PETRO-PIT® filtration cartridges and guaranteeing optimum drainage of rainwater contaminated with hydrocarbons and esters.
Internal replacement for PFC-44 pre-filter (set of 6 excluding pre-filter)
Even without hydrocarbon or ester pollution, the PFC-44 pre-filter can sometimes be clogged by too many impurities in the drainage water. The internal components installed in the SPI® prefiltration system is composed of foam and a black diffuser; it must be changed regularly to ensure optimal drainage of the wasterwater.
The PFC-44 pre-filter must be purchased separately.

In order for the PETRO-PIT® filters to maintain sufficient flow, the PFC-44 must be kept as clean as possible. If there are too many impurities in the drainage water, the foam and black mesh in the pre-filter must be replaced. Sold by sets of 6, excluding pre-filter.
Step of follow :
- Unscrew the top of the PFC-44 pre-filter,
- Remove all internals,
- Place the thin grey sheet on the bottom,
- Add the polyester disc,
- Place the foam,
- Add the black mesh over the foam,
- Close the top part and tighten strongly.

SPI® filters comply with American EPA SPCC standards, European and French standards on water treatment in light hydrocarbon separators as well as the water law (hydrocarbon content of water at the filter outlet less than 5 ppm , ICPE compliant). For three decades, thousands of installations have been protected by SPI® products in North America, Europe and Latin America. Its approval with the largest petrochemical industries, power companies and local authorities gives it an obvious strength to innovate in the filtration and solidification of new pollutants (natural esters FR3-COPPER, synthetic esters MIDEL7131) and find the solution for which you need.
