MIDSUN® E/TAPE is a highly resistant arc flash tape. Composed of self-fusing inorganic silicone rubber wound on an easy-to-separate and tear-off film, it is an excellent electrical protection against phase-to-earth, leak-free, for any connector, bus or cable up to 50kV.
The thickness of E/TAPE, which offers insulation ratings ranging from 35kV to 50kV, is 80Mil. This product is available in three different widths.

The E/TAPE is a self-fusing silicone rubber tape of specialized formulation that provides a grounding phase isolation of up to 35 kV with a 2/3 overlap and a 10% stretch. A second 2/3 overlap, wound in the opposite direction, achieves a phase isolation rate of 50 kV.
The self-adhering properties of the tape make application extremely easy on flexible cables, expansion joints and irregularly shaped connectors. The custom formulation helps protect from heat (FR), mold, rust and weather, while maintaining essential electrical properties to prevent long term animal failure.
The E/TAPE roll can be easily removed as opposed to the intense shrinkage removal of shrink wraps.
Its self-melt and adhesive properties prevent clogging or residue deposition when the tape is removed for periodic examinations, such as for vinyl tape.
The E/TAPE is available in different widths to facilitate application on installations of any size.
