The APEM5-5A crimper is one of the most reliable and powerful battery-powered manual crimpers on the market. Its sturdiness, wide choice of dies and wide range of crimping pressures give you extreme versatility of use on your worksites, with very high levels of precision and reliability.
The APEM 5 is a crimper with a 180° rotating head that stops the motor and resets automatically or manually after shrinking. It is ideal for outdoor use, with an operating temperature ranging from -10°C to 40°C and a crimping force of up to 60 kN. Dedicated to tubular cable lugs up to 240mm² (NF) and DIN Cu 6 cable lugs up to 150mm² (KZ5 - KZ28), crimping is relatively quick (3 to 6 seconds) thanks to the very high speed of the 2-speed hydraulic pump.
It carries an 18-volt DC LiO battery with a charge time of around 30 minutes. A USB interface is built in so you can save your crimping by date and record the crimping force used in previous operations.
